HERE'S TO 2023!
I just thought it would be a good idea to let you in on some great info and assure you that the market is still strong, and 2023 is starting off fairly steady. We saw a slowing in the second half of 2022 but 2023 seems to be happily on its way to becoming a great year for Arizona real estate.
That being said, we are noticing a slight shift in the market as new listings and price reductions are popping up. The market has adjusted and become a tad more anchored and the madness has calmed down. It's now a happier mix of buyers and sellers alike having more choices in Maricopa and Pinal counties.
An interesting thing is that more buyers are surfacing that didn't really have neither the time or the inclination to go through the craziness that was happening in 2022 and now our biggest influence in the shift is the increase to Federal interest rates. Buyers have had to start paying more for their mortgages so they are looking out for deals elsewhere which means they're back in the market!
As I spend time watching the market and following its trends, I am just as excited about it now as I was starting out in 2003. I have a long career behind me and ahead of me. I am spending time reflecting in 2023 and realize how blessed I am and I wish everyone could be as content and happy as I am with my chosen career. I just love helping people buy and sell homes and I love the people I work with and I am extremely excited for what my future holds. I'm still having so much fun!
